Discuss can i spur off a cooker with a d, socket in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

could replace cooker switch with one incorporating a socket outlet ( circuit being capable of handing extra load ). best way is to come off ring final if you want aq double S/O
 
not good practice, IMO, i suppose you could fit a FCU, you have to check loading and whether the cable will take the extra load.
 
ok thanks for that. how about a spur off the cooker switch and then out of the spur to a double socket
