Changing from gas!

Hi guys. Came across this forum and I thought it might be a good place to share ideas and feedback, and even give advice, but I don't think I will be doing much of the advice giving at the moment. I am a plumber/gassafe guy looking to upskill into electrician boots. I am getting on a bit, 50 now but that's only a number! Anyways, that's about it for now but looking forward to the banter. From a recent contact I had with a registered gas safe plumber, and his charge for connecting up a gas hob on a kitchen refurb I was on, I would just stay with the gas thing.
