Hi
I have been a manager for a couple of years now (had enough of it) and I am looking to go back on the tools I have been looking at gaining a few extra quals mainly the C+G 2394/5 combined inspection and testing.
While looking for a training provider I have come across the EAL 4337/8 Qualification which appears to be the same course content just a different assessment, I have spoken to both NICEIC and NAPIT and both recognise the qualification for membership as do the JIB. However looking at job ads most require the C+G 2394/5.

Both courses are level 3 and same cost but It is easier for myself date and time wise to do the EAL qualification. just wondering if anyone has an opinion or indeed have taken the EAL course or any employers thoughts ie, 2394/5 vesus 4337/8 would you employ some with the EAL?

I would C&G then EAL.

The EAL is a OPEN BOOK Exam, tho i dont aprove of REMEMBERING things when things tend to change.
Values of Zs change etc.
The C&G is a bit hard without the books to fall back on.

Took the C&G 2394/5 a few months back. Read guidance note 3 religiously and you should be ok.

Trick is to make sure you read and understand the questions and what they are actually asking of you. Terminology is key.

So guess you know that i AVOID C&G as i didnt think i would be able to pass it with my English Level (Dyslexic)

So i did my 2394 with LCL (Logic Cert) whom i dont rate as markers, told my tutor if he told me how they marked it i wouldnt of done it with them, i felt it was a Higher odds for me to miss read it and lose the whole thing.

And my 2395 with EAL, found it less stressful and passed it, to me the 2394/5 were same to the exams i did at the 2330 Level 3.
