Coding for a 100mA RCD covering lighting circuit on a TT system in a domestic environment?
(Sockets on a 30mA, Ze of less then 50 ohms) (test data left in office along with books, just mulling it over during dinner)

None also can only Code on the lack of additional rcd protection for cables in walls, assuming they don't have earthed containment.

It would depend on if the lighting circuit supplies the bathroom light and if supplementary bonding was up to scratch for the bathroom imo.

circuit supplies bathroom, supplementary up to scratch-no code

circuit supplies bathroom, supplementary not up to scratch-C2

C3-due to lack of additional protection of cables buried in wall <50mm, not mechanically protected sufficient enough to stop the penetration of nails ,screws and the likes of or earthed metallic sheath/containment that meets the requirements of a CPC.

None, but you could C3 it. A comment in the comments box to cover your reasoning maybe
I presume he is referring to the buried cables?

If 30mA RCD protection is required now then not coding it is not an option. (This is specifically stated.)

Agree with all
No additional protection for cables buried less than 50mm in wall
No additional protection for circuits within a room containing a bath or shower
Both code 3 .

Thanks, thats what I thought - although there was something swimming in my head that all TT had to have 30mA in domestic for all circuits now (another C3 for that if so)

Also yeah, good Ra, in this area if the TT system is on the oxford or kimmeridge clay deposit soils we tend to get really good readings on TT systems
