Commercial canopy fan help

Hi i have a canopy fan to wire up the problem is a 3rd party has left no wiring diagram for it. It will be working of a speed controller which has the connections N L E U1 U2 1 2 . The Fans make is RUCK Ventilation DVNI 500 E4 Single phase it has 5 conenctions at the isolator. It is numbered such as 1 3 5 7 9 and on the other side it is 2 4 6 8 10 this side has the cables going to the fan connected in 2 4 and 6 but im not sure which is which as there is no wiring diagram left on site any help would be appreciated.

am i right in saying 1 and 2 from the speed controller which are the outgoing live and neutral connect to 1 and 3 at the fan and u1 and u2 on the speed controller go to 5 and 7 on the fan. Ive not connected a canopy fan up usually just the intake fans.

i would think that the speed controller has the numbers matching. i.e. 1-2, 3-4,5-6,7-8.
