Discuss COMPETITION - 3 x C.K MIGHTYRODS PRO CABLE ROD 12m SUPER KITS! in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

Many thanks to all of you who entered our C.K MightyRods PRO competition.

The competition question was:
Q. C.K MightyRods PRO feature triple bonded connectors offering tensile strength in excess of 275kg. What are the three methods used to bond the connectors to rods?

Just in case you're still wondering, the answer is:
  1. Glued
  2. Indented
  3. Crimped
And the lucky winners are:
  • Stantheman
  • Wilko
  • Midwest
Congratulations! You have a PM waiting for you.

Many thanks once again to all who entered. If you weren't lucky enough to win this time round don't worry as we'll be running more competitions up ahead.

I was hoping to bin my Super Rods because they aren't glued, indented and crimped.

If you could do a competition for some Dextro VDE drivers (and guarantee me a win), would save me buying some ;)

Thanks for the competition though :)

Thought I'd just gloat, and say I've just taken delivery of me C.K MightyRods PRO. Its got a magnet, torch end and a crook thing (which I think is for getting schoolboys out of horses hooves), and others and more rods than you can shake a trunking lid at.

Thanks very much CK Tools.

:D:D:D

Wow! Got mine today as well, thanks to Graham and to CK Tools!
I think this kit has a lot going for it, all sorts of accessories for all sorts of situations, I particularly like the spira-flex rod (very very bendy indeed) and that it's all splinter proof, being honest, the only thing missing (for me anyway) is a 'springy' cable grip or two (which in my opinion is the super rod's best feature) having this would make this the ultimate rod set, shame that the thread sizes are different between the two sets.
In fact I'm so impressed with the MightyRod Pro Cable Rods that I'm going to have my 'springy cable grips machined and threaded down to M5 so that it'll fit my new set of rods!
Thanks once again guys!

Glad you like your new C.K MightyRods PRO kit Midwest. Hope they serve you well.

Interesting assumption as to the use for the hook but perhaps take another look at the video to see what it's really meant for :D:D:D;)

Enjoy :)

You're most welcome stantheman, and glad that you're happy with your new set of C.K MightyRods PRO.
Many thanks also for the feedback on the cable grips, it's information like this that enables us to further improve our products. We'll get to work!
