Discuss Connecting SWA to Twin and Earth cable? in the The Welcome Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Why do you want to extend SWA with T&E?
I was taught that you should always extend a wiring system with either the same type or another type which has equal or better protection.
The SWA goes to the basement inside the house so the 6mm twin and earth will be all be indoors and clipped back to the house consumer unit.
