Distant learning, centre near liverpool

Im a joiner/builder at the moment and looking into renovationing properties and want to legaly do all the electrical work myself aswell as testing and certifying others work, and in the future hopefully the gas too.

After a lot of thought distant learning is the best option for me. Ive looked at a lot of distant learning providers for the domestic instalation course, but the practical training centres are miles away, has anyone done such a course with the centre near liverpool.
