Obviously at one time the lighting cable was in one of the consumer unit ways with a five amp fuse but when they installed the shower they had no spare ways.So they just moved it over onto the socket fuse, left the 1.0mm lighting cable in and took it to a fused spur.
I am going back on Friday to fit a new metal clad RCBO consumer unit with enough spare ways.

To be honest there are a lot of good people out there but its sometimes just the finishing touches that irk me, I paid a lot for a build in SW6 but the over tightening of the 3.5mm screws on the blank faceplate that distorts and bends it ever so slightly inwards that its not flush with the wall bugs me but maybe I am just being pedantic. I need to cure my OCD. apologies for the thread drift.

Something to cheer you up,
