Hi, just wanted to introduce myself name's Dean, I'm 32 and based in west London. Recently completed my level 3 2365 Diploma in electrical installations at my local college, following level 2. Decided i want to become a electrician two years ago as i enjoy completing practical tasks and find problem-solving rewarding, so being a electrician appealed to me. I have no experience in the electrical industry, but am keen and willing to learn. So here i am now seeking any advice on the best way to get my foot in the door. I've signed up to Indeed and other similar agencies, but a lot of their vacancies for mates require some kind of experience. Would be great to hear from some people who have been in a similar predictament and are now working as electricians/mates. Look forward to hearing from you.

go for mates jobs, direct or through agency. blag it as for experience. but you will need a cscs card.
