Hi guys,

Just wondering what you guys are charging for annual inspection and test of fire alarm systems?! I have one to test that has 15 detectors and 4 manual call points! It's an addressable system.

Cheers
Mark

Unusual to do an annual inspection, most inspections are Bi or quarterly. With this in mind do you have all the correct testing equipment.?

The premises, & owner would need the system checked regularly....Licencing would also require copies of tests conducted.

I know. What I was saying is that for Entertainments Licence annual emergency lighting and fire alarm periodic inspection and testing is required, along with three-yearly periodic inspection of the electrical installation. So this could be what he meant by annual inspection.

Depends on the licensing authority.
Periodic is 20% on a rolling annual basis (a different 20% each year so everything gets done once every 5 years) and emergency lighting is very 6 months at the theatre I do electrical works for.
