Hi all

I have installed some dimmable led spots, 3 lights on one switch and 3 on another switch both are on dimmer switches on a 2 gang plate. When i dim one set of lights down the other ones flicker. And ideas why this could be?

Many thanks Guy

A couple of questions mate to aid analysis:
Are the lamps, drivers and dimmers manufacturer matched or approved compatible parts?
Please post details of each component, manufacturer, part number, rating, etc.
Are the dimmers leading or trailing edge triggered?
When you say " I dim one set ... the other ones flicker." is the other set full ON or switched OFF?

Hi Mark

Thanks for your reply,

We think we have come to a solution. We are going to change the dimmers to trailing edge and install some resistors at the first fitting of each swithed circuit. Haler says this should solve the issues. Seems to be a case of new and old technology clashing.

Cheers
