Discuss Flood light - fixing it up a tree! in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

Looking for some sensible suggestions for fixing a LED floodlight with PIR up a tree!

I'd rather not be using 3" nails in the trunk!

Thanks all

Not too heavy at all then. Hmm.
I know you can get big bands for pulling trees/branches in one direction or the other, but maybe a small length of wood to attach the bracket to, with the wood affixed to a small ratchet strap, that way the install can grow with the tree.

You get stainless steel strapping and buckles but over time it does tend to cut into the bark. I'd just use 75mm stainless steel decking screws if it's a small floodlight.
