Is it acceptable to leave a 2 core 10mm2 MICC cable supplying an upstairs flat on a 100A suppliers fuse? (Maxing demand is acceptable and disconnection times are within tolerance.)

No, existing installation. Just wondering when there is no space in the meter box for a switch fuse. I come across this every so often when carrying out periodics.

NO. Without fusing down, you would exceed 3m which the supplier will say is the max unfused.

Also regs say max of 3m back fusing.

Is the pyro the property of the DNO. I know around here many flats were serviced by DNO in pyro. I have had faults on these on occasions and DNO changed them for hybrid concentric.
