Hi,
As part of my college project I need to size and choose a suitable generator unit for my building(supermarket). Does anyone know of a good company that supplies Generators and where i could get information about this.

Cheers

Have you calculated the maximum loading? There’s no point contacting generator manufacturers with out that basic information.

As Tony says you need need to know the loading as when I worked for a company which looked after supermarkets which had standby generators, some would do the whole of a store but some would only do part of a store to cover fridges and freezers only

Thanks for the reply. I will know the load soon. Just need to calculate it.. I wanted to research about how they work and the theory of it all. So i am looking for generic information at this point
