Discuss Hand Dryer in the Electrical Appliances Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I see it claims a rating of IP24, that should help decide which zone it is suitable for. From the look of the page layout I wouldn't be surprised if "Zone U" is the makers name or model.

If it is the manufacturers name or logo, it may be as a marketing ploy to lead people into thinking it's suitable for a certain zone. Seen it on other products.

Heat store's technical information tells me that:
Zone U: Unzoned The area beyond Zone 2
previously referred to as Zone 3 is now
undefined.Where previously Heatstore products
were shown as suitable for Zone 3 they now
display this Unzoned badge.

Nice they are making up new zones for us!

I never heard of Zone U too. Where online shopping site did you ended about this Zone U for the Hand Dryer? You better read more some available details about it or contact the manufacturer and/or distributor.
