Had a customer ring me today asking if I could do some pat testing for 6 items... No problem, yeah I responded....

Can you back date the stickers and certificate he asks.

Not really no, why?

Just having a problem with insurance he says...

I've had a fire in a room in my shop caused by a fridge....

So what your saying is you want to pass the blame on to me for the sake of £70

After a very long time thinking about it I unfortunately had to say no....

WHENS THE COURT DATE PAL AND ILL PUT THAT IN MY DIARY TOO....

anyone else had anything like this?

Um no lol

can just imagine it. a smoke damaged fridge with a shiny new green sticker on the plug top.

You could have just tested it! But put a red sticker on it as its unlikely to pass now and just before it started a fire.
Try selling him a fire alarm as well.

Sell him an extiguisher as well. Dress it up as one of those BOGOF deals where he thinks he's getting one free...;)

Had a guy wanting me to fake pat results, walked off the job.
You dont need to guess where they were destined to go, or where he was from.

Your integrity is worth far more than risking it for a fast buck.
