Hi can you please delete my account and all my details please admin as I feel I have given to many of my details away signing up to trainee forum as my college tutor advised me to have the account deleted and all details removed from forum thankyou

On what grounds did he say this? The trainee section is a closed place and people have to ask/be invited to have access there so if he knows about your membership of it he is either a mentor, masquerading as a trainee or you have told him.
Anyway, all personal information about you is held pretty securely as far as I'm aware.
If he has a problem with your membership I'd be asking him what it is. You have a wealth of experience available to you at the end of your finger. Don't be too hasty to deny yourself of that

His tutor is talking bull as no one can see details of trainee applicants apart from staff. This has been explained numerous times to the op by pm but I'm wrong and the tutor's right. Just no talking to some people so it's his loss not ours.

To gain entry into the TS you have to fill out an application. The application process is there to protect the TS and its members from spammers, advertisers, rouge companies and any one else that may pray on students. Even the Mentors are vetted before being allowed access. The TS is the most protected part of the forum and it will always will be that way, the staff work very hard to make it the safest place on the forum.

The information given in the application can only be seen by staff to authorise access if all the criteria is met (so access it is only granted to students). The Trainees information has never and will never be seen by a third party or sold on to a third party. The staff has never used any given information for their own use and by our own forum rules, we never will. The staff hold a great responsibility to keep everyone's personal information on this forum safe, there has never been a problem in all the years the Electricians Forum has been running.

Any Trainees/tutors/members with any questions regarding this issue should contact a member of staff, but I think everything has been explained in this thread.

Sorry to see a Trainee leave due to ill advice.
