hi guys, I'm looking for someone with some experience with home automation systems to give some advice on the enclosures.

I haven't fitted any before and wondered if they, when fitted in to a din rail enclosure/cabinet, would fall under the catch all of 'switch gear' and have to be fitted in a metal enclosure.

I only ask as I was looking at fitting them into an enclosure that is metal but has plastic window on the door so I can sit and look at all the prity lights flashing.

The setup would be two amd3 boards for the MCBs with the lines from circuits run through to the din rail enclosure via steel trunking to be switched via loxone system then back through to the MCBs.

Hope that makes sense.
