Hi,

Does anyone have experience of a Homebase scheme where they hold business cards / flyers and pass them to customers interested in solar. As far as I understand it they don't deal directly with the customer and don't take a cut but charge a weekly fee for the service (regardless of how many leads are generated).

I believe this scheme applies to all trades, not just solar PV.

Any feedback would be welcomed!

Our local Homebase has a large display board by the exit, holding business cards for local trades. Local trades pay to put their cards there. Not much more to it really. Homebase don't pass your details on, they merely let you stick a load of your cards/flyers in a cubby hole for the public to ignore

A couple of people I know have stocked cards at Homebase etc...

Not good feedback or work generated, when you pay £200+ for the privilege!
