Hello

I was at a clients yesterday to sort a Galaxy S2 as they had just moved in and had no idea how to use it and change codes ect... anyway, whilst showing them how to use it they was not that happy about the loud double beep that is produced from the internal speaker when it has set correctly... is there anyway to turn this down?

Thanks

press the function button #..(function will then be displayed)
press the volume button number (2) volume displayed
press 3 to increase volume or 6 to decrease
repeat until you have the volume required
then press function again

Are you sure?
Is this the bleeping sound from the keypad?
Is it a Mk.7 keypad?
If so, there is a small variable resistor / pot inside the keypad that can be adjusted for the volume of the internal sounder. I found the programmed volume would not work on mine, it was only adjustable via the pot.

Alan, the op is commenting on the internal speaker, not the keypad.....but as the galaxy has so many variations, it would be good to know if you have input to help the op

Ah, there isn't an internal speaker on mine, or any I have fitted. Just the bleeping from the keypad, which also sounds when in alarm mode.
If it is a separate speaker, then the programmed settings may well adjust the volume.
