Bought one of those superfishers after reading those posts thought it was worth a try although I was a little sceptical with the op's enthusiasm towards them, but hey they're just a thicker version of the nylon draw wire

Anyway I'm not that impressed
they do have a place in the van but definitely not the best fishing tool, and I found they struggled to get through insulation and seem to get snagged on anything under the floorboards due to a tendency to curve ,they're fine for clear runs ,and to stand any chance of getting them under the floor they need to be kept in the pipe tube to keep them straight, I'll stick to the rods and spring wire only problem I ever have with these is the usual wear and tear.

one item I did have until recently (it hitched a lift in someone elses van never to be seen again) was a fibreglass drain rod same as the DNO chaps have and not the same as the type you can get almost everywhere for £10
this was a great tool for punching through paramount walls, I've looked for them everywhere but no joy and would like to get another one so if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be gratefull.

Hi, I must be the OP for Superfisher lol... I use this tool almost every day & wanted people to know what I found to be the best...

You'd need to be an Indian snake charmer to get these fish rods to go anywhere but for the money they can help on the odd occasion ,best tool I used would be the spring steel type as for it being a rubbish domestic fish wire I'd have to disagree.
only my opinion!
