I have a little Ryobi with the 4v Battery which was around £40-£50. Have also had a play with a more expensive one (can't recall which it was). The Ryobi is ok for all it gets used, but what I found common with both was it was it was a PITA to manoeuvre and direct them where wanted, I guess you get a knack for it but when only used 3-4 times a year I'll probably always curse the thing lol.

I have just bought one of the Aldi ones, not too bad but not excellent.
The picture is not as clear as I would like but the light is OK. I like the digital zoom, and that the battery indicator moves as you rotate/mirror the view
I do find that if you can get more light on the subject they start to be useful as direction is difficult and long distance viewing impossible without extra light. LED flexible strip or car running lights can be very useful to feed in beside the camera.

Ive just bought a bosch one as it uses the same 10.8v batteries as my little driver. It has a built in memory card so you can record videos or take pics.

It also has an 'always up' function where the screen image auto rotates so that you don't get disorientated if you twist the camera flex upside down.

Bought for a specific job and only time will tell if i end up using again or not!

Tried a few different cheap inspection cameras over the last few years with varying levels of ease of use and quality

Bought one of these http://www.eazyview.com/tradesman/ at the Elex show a while ag0 and it seems a very good unit for the price
