Has anyone done the JIB MCAS (mature candidate assessment scheme) ?
I have been in the electrical trade a good few years and wanted to finish off my training so I can get JIB'd. Been sent the knowledge unit from my training provider and hardly any of it is actually electrical related more H&S and providing technical info to customers etc and I'm struggling with it a bit.
Just enquiring if anyone else had Completed it ?

Many of us have done the older NVQ level 3 which was the 2356. I think the mature candidate assessment is a slight variant and they've changed the course number to 2356-99,

The NVQ is repetitive and focuses a lot on H&S. If you can tick off the criteria for each part you cant go far wrong. If you can post up particular parts you are stuck with then we will be able to help further. Below is a list of what each unit is about and what you have to show. Best of luck :)
