Hi Guys,

Ive been looking at the JIB technician grade, it says the 'City & Guilds of London Institute Electrical Installation Work Part III Course Certificate (or approved equivalent)' is required

I cant seem to find any details/info on this course anywhere. Does anyone know if it has been replaced by an equivalent or anything like that.

Any help much appreciated, Thanks :stooge_curly:
 
Isn't that the old C course? Now replaced by 2391-20 Design & Verification, now possibly been replaced by something else??
 
Cheers for the reply Dean, I know the 2391-20 is now the 2396 and was previously know as the 2400.

Yeah I thought it was the same as the old c course but didnt realise that was the Design course.
I'll phone city and guilds to check

To get the tech grade the JIB arent just looking for extra quals , they want to see job experience at supervisor level , preferably backed up by employer references.
