Hi all,
I am rewiring the lighting circuit in an old pub. It wasn't until running the new cable that I discovered the circuit branched off to a porch light through a junction box under the floorboards. This is where the circuit originally shorted out. I've completed the rest of the circuit and tested, but need to splice into it for this extra light. I'm sure that the most complete solution would have been to somehow include this in the chain initially, but this would have caused a lot more disruption and used a lot more cable. Looking at other threads it seems that splicing the cable using something like a wago MF junction box is the way to go as it is under the floor and inaccessible.
Thought I would just post on here for sugestions before I go ahead.
|Thanks
