Why is it that when you click on 'new posts' the list that comes up is different to 'quick links' 'todays posts'. I would have thought they are the same thing.
 
The only difference I'm aware of is that 'todays posts' gives unread posts from the last 24hrs & 'new posts' gives you unread posts from the last 3 months I think it is.
 
Thought new posts were unread post since you were last on the forum.

So if you were to mark all as read, then come back on in an hour, click new posts then all these will be since you were last on the forum

That pretty much sums it up.

Today's posts will bring up all posts even if you have already read them:thumbsup
