I have just joined this forum I am leaving the military and have qualified as a Portable Appliance Tester and was wondering what i should charge.

Any help would be really appricated

Consider between £1-£2 to be making a living off it & doing properly. Id also consider a minimum charge say £50-£60. And consider a lower rate for more items. Good luck
 
Agreed you may get some sites which are profitable but these are few and far between. Big contracts are taken by the quantity counters who are constantly cutting each others throats to such an extent they can only make money by churning out huge daily quantities which can only mean one thing, the job isn't done correctly.
