Hi all,
I'm on a career change and i'm building my kit up as i go through my quals.
I am after my first good quality Multi Meter and i've come across the Fluke 177 & 323 combo kit on Ebay.
The kit is brand new and he will accept £200.
Is this a good price? Furthermore, is this good quality kit and recommended?

many thanks in advance

Rog

Check that's not a typo with the seller. The combo pack available from Fluke appears to be the 117/323. The 177 is quite a bit more expensive a meter with some different functions.

Fluke 117 & 323 Electrician's Multimeter Combo Kit | eBay

This is the link to the item, he's provisionally accepted my offer of £200, just wanted to check its a good deal before I commit to pay

no need for a 400A clamp tester for you at the moment. Better get one with a small mA range earth leakage testing, will come handy when you got some fault finding to do.

Why not try your forum sponsor Test-Meter.co.uk , they may not show fluke on their website but i can assure you they can get what you want at competitive prices.

By they way that combo-kit it good, Fluke Multimeters and Clamps are right up there with the best and rarely go wrong.

Why don't they show Fluke stuff on their site? I had looked previously but found none, so moved on to another site, as a matter of my own methods, if I see a site that even has phone for best price I generally skip on, never mind contacting a company for something they don't even list on their website.
I'd imagine they must lose out on a lot of trade by not showing the full range of stock online.

Will give them a shout in the morning, as tbh my local wholesaler still hasn't come back to me with a price for what I'm looking. They said Fluke haven't responded to them yet.
