excuse the paraphrasing .I'm trying to figure out if lighting circuits in group 1 /2 locations HAVE to be on rcd.or if it depends on...eg...unprotected cables in a metal stud wall ...or if it is in a room containing shower
710.411.3.2.5 says ..in medical locations of group 1 & group 2...WHERE rcds are required only type A or B (not type AC) shall be selected..
then
710.411.4..TN systems says ..In final circuits (which presumably would include lighting ?)of group 1 rated up to 63 amp rcds SHALL be used
then
next paragraph says in medical locations of group 2 rcds shall ONLY be used for operating tables X rays etc.
it just sounds a bit conflicting to me...or maybe just too late at night to think clearly.
