My Milwaukee has messed up since owning it December I am fuming

it still works but not properly, you let go of the trigger the drill used to stop straight away now when you let go of the trigger it spins slowly until it stops

question is who do I contact to get a replacement milwaukee or anglia tools who I brought it from online ???

even though it's not working properly I still need it therefore can't send it off wait 2 weeks then get another ect ect

has anyone else been in this situation before ? What was the outcome

Sounds like the brake has failed. You should always in the first instance contact the people you bought it from. Call Anglia and see what they say. They should replace it without question, and see what they suggest in the interim period.
A warranty claim through Milwaukee would require it to go to one of their authorised dealers and would probably take longer.

Exactly same thing happened to me. Called milwaukee direct they replaced all the innards except gearbox and it took like 3 days. Spot on. Also i forgot to register for 3 yr warranty when i bought it, and it was out of standard warranty by a month but they still sorted it nice and quick no probs.

Thats good to know !! I too forgot to register mine but it was purchased in December and I still have the email :)

Give Milwaukee a call, my charger packed up called them on a Tuesday & a replacement was delivered on the Friday Morning.

Mine are well out of warranty now, so I do any repair work myself......brushes on the 18v last week was a doddle all for the grand sum of £6
