MK SWITCH EXCHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:banghead: Is anyone else having this nightmare trying to get a payment out of the company.
They were very quick in offering a call out fee to check switch but its like getting blood out of a stone............................................................................................................................:32:

Can you give details? How many call outs have you made? How long have you been waiting to get paid? Do they give any indication why it's taking so long?

This came up somewhere else when the problem reared its head.
IIRC, Court Action was threatened, then payment was made.
Left hand and right hand at MK not knowing what the other is doing. From talking to their call centre staff (sub-contractors, not MK staff), they couldnt get enough sparkies to go out and check their own installs, as the pay was so poor.
I had 1 to do, a hours drive away, they were offering £45 each iirc. I said that wasnt enough. It went up to £75, but would involve 2 trips, one to check, and one to fit. So roughly 6 hours total for £75, for a fault entirely caused by them.
They said they could arrange a local Contractor to fit the new switch if I gave them details of the customer, which I did. No idea what happened next, apart from a thread on the IET site where payment took a long time.
