My makita dab keeps freezing as of the other day....doesn't give me enough time to get to setting and restore to factory, gunna have to leave battery out for a long while me thinks.
 
Got my eye on a hitachi combi and impact driver set (the one with the 92nm combi and the 2 4Ah batteries)
Though with the way the finances are going I think I might just have to make do with my AEG a while longer and try and find the spare battery...wherever it is...probably lurking with my megger volt pen....using a kewtech at the moment (all screwfix had in stock that day...ugh)

That sounds like dodgy power.

There is an internel battery that keeps settings and powers backlight.

If power goes off either plug or battery runs out display will still be on
