Most water pipes feeding a property are now plastic, but anyways I have connected up the unused flux capacitor from my broken down DeLorean to the plumbing just to be over cautious, it works as a waste disposer as well.
 
Quote "the magnetic fields caused by plumbing currents are then mitigated" . Fantastic ! I thought magnetic fields were caused by electric currents (etc) and not water movement in pipes ... must have slept through that bit o_O
Assume there must be an issue with DNO means of earthing and/or a fault in his house to create this field?
