Problem with those diy fittings is that they do not consider more than one cable connection, they assume just one cable dangling from the ceiling.

I see your point regarding the limitations, in regards to what code it should be dose it not matter about your un erthed back box & lid screws that someone could come in to contact with regardless of if your light switches are class 2.

If there are any screws connected to a metallic back box that are accessible from a switch plate then it is not class 2
