Does anyone know what type of equipment these qualifications entitle me to work on.
I've changed roles in work as my old roll was short of work and have joined the electrical department.
I'm currently working with :-
Wiring 3 phase motors
Control panels running off 3 phase supply etc

It has been mentioned that if there was an accident that I or my company maybe in trouble.
I've asked to go back to college to get more electrical training more applicable to what I'm working on now

I can't mention my company name or the exact nature of the work as my company very strict with social media etc

Depends on what exactly you are doing here, and what regulations that work may fall under.

If you are extending, altering or designing machinery controls then you should be fully knowledged in the relevent standards - possible the EU L/V directive and depending upon the equipment there may also be specific standards that relate to them like Cranes or Wood working machinery.

There is also the risk assessment side to consider too, working on any machinery may require you to do a rsik assessment and possible bring it up to standards - this will mean that the safety of the machine and its users lies solely on your shoulders.

As you are pretty vague with your job in hand its hard to give a definitive answer as this side of the industry covers so much.

Remember that having diploma's, certs etc is only evidence you have been taught the theorectical side, this alone will not mean your competent to work on any equipment until you have been given onsite active experience and shown your competence.

Your company should be the one to decide if you are competent in the work they are asking / allowing you to do.
They should have within the company or be able to seek the advice of, someone capable of deciding.

How did you get to the ONC, was it a craft / workplace related beginning or purely technical?

Right sorry guys been busy

Right I'm not a young apprentice I have worked in a production environment for two different companies spanning 18 years within those companies I have been everything from a production working assembling electronic equipment, repair centre superviser quality engineer., and with the most recent company test technician, site installer running the assembly side of some substantial equipment and following the equipment abroad to install on my own so I'm not a complete novice
But as many of you probably are also I'm always learning and alot of the work I'm doing at the moment is new to me but nothing I haven't been able to under stand or learn as I'm going along I feel more than competent on everything I'm working with after training

I'm not designing or extending new equipment just adding the electrical connections to tried and tested equipment including some testing but I have been suggesting some improvements to the engineering department for approval as I go go along

It's not that I don't believe I'm competent to do the job it's just that certain people have suggested that I'm not qualified to do the job as in the past its always been carried out by qualified electricians not someone coming from my background and that's the crux of my question I don't know myself if my qualifications cover me or not
