Discuss Panel wiring standards in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi not sure about regs on this but if it helps a place I worked at built panels and I do remember that they used brown and blue trirated cables for ac and red and black for dc,probably someone here knows full spec but that much I do remember, hope it helps you.

Different places have their own preferences, but within the regs you are not allowed to use G/Y for anything other than Earthing, and Green (by itself) is not allowed, In general any DC should be a different colour from LV AC, This is assuming that all cables are marked Alpha/Numerically of course.

This is for LV panels, of course all Phases and Neutral are clearly identified, Earthing conductors have already been mentioned.
