It was fully tested tested and inspected by his brother so all good. I might just do it one day

Very true, I just didn't want anyone thinking I'd forgot to put in a proper main switch.That RCD looks a lot like it will fulfill the function of a main switch to me.

Yes, I know my earth sleeving is bigger than yours, size doesn't matter, it's how you use it.
(And I know there's no main switch in the board, everything is being fed from the communal riser.)

The 4mm in the RCD is terminated back in the main riser with the main isolation switch and incoming earth.

I can take criticism from you but not from some youngster........SWD you've really got to learn to be neater in your work, that tape is bloody messy
