after completing the required remedial work (suggested onthe unsatisfactory pir the day before) on an installation, does a full pir need to be conducted again to show that it is up to scratch?

the way my company work it is to note the fault, fix it, and mark the test sheet to say this was found and corrcected so it would be on the previous days pir for me.
 
that depends on client One of our clients wants a "Satisfactory" PIR so we do second one marked with circuits worked on and "no other testing bar repaired circuits" in the Limitation box and " to confirm repairs carried out on PIR numberXXXX" with MWCs attached for any work or EIC if its required (mcb changes ect)
IMO it should be MWC or EIC dependant attached to original PIR
 
Paper makes the world go round specialy when its no longer "paper" but emailed certs Plus there can be months between me puting a PIR in and being asked to do remedials Except code 1s which are done on the day or made safe and returned ASAP and marked as repaired or isolated on original PIR
 
We recently got AMTEK on laptops Im finding my way around it and we have a GEEK working for us at the end of a phone Pity id done 32 2way DBs all exactly the same typed in Descriptions cable type size ect ect before I phoned him and was told about the "Copy board" option grrrrrrr Ill know next time
