Morning guy, cant seem to find the reg that states a bonding conductor cant be cut???
A nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!!

One conductor eye crimped to water, then another conductor taken from that point(water connection) eye crimped also.

so guys, i have always been under the impression that you can bond water and gas with one conductor as long as you don't cut it? is this right or wrong?
thanks in advanced!

correct. ot's so that if, say, the bonding cable goes to the gas then the water, if the connection is removed from the gas, the bonding to the water is still intact. whereas if it were 2 cables, joined at the gas bonding clamp, both would be lost.

Perfectly correct, you can in theory 'loop' from gas to oil to water etc. with an unbroken cable.

There is no regulation but Guidance Note 8 and probably Guidance Note 1 explain this procedure along with the 'no broken conductor' proviso.

Code 4 for me.
