Did a re install of operating system over weekend and have just tried to access pirform website using both firefox and ie and get stopped with warnings that the website is unsafe. Just tried to send an email to [email protected] and have had this returned with the message that the ip address is blacklisted and not authenticated.
Anybody know what is going on or is this more money down the drain?

I noticed it when I was trying to get to their support pages again the other day.
The website is still there if you ignore the security cert warning.

I don't fully understand what it's all about but it's something to do with them not renewing some kind of registration/certificate for the website.

Try installing any OS updates and service packs if its a Windows OS you may need Root certificates updating. All secure sites use a certificate from a trusted root such as Thawte, Verisign and others if your root certs aren't current they will not trust certain certificates.
