Does anyone know anything about these wind turbines. I have one which is off grid and would like to attach it to a on grid inverter, would there be an issue in doing this

It depends which model of Proven it is. Some of the old off-grid models were only 48V so it will be difficult to find a matching grid-tie inverter. The 2.5kW and 6kW grid-tie versions generate a fluctuating 200-600V wild 3-phase AC (varying with blade rpm) so need a rectifier before feeding DC to a grid-tie inverter.

I have the 6kW grid-tie version.

You will need to find out what its output voltage level is. Is it charging batteries or connected to an electric heating system?

It is possible to have the generator core changed to a grid tie (nom 300V wild AC) version. As above, then rectifier, then Windy Boy inverter to grid tie. Certainly worth speaking to Kingspan Wind about this to see if they will carry this out on a Proven machine.
