anyone use them ? what they like ?
sick of rough cuts from hacksaw even with new blade so thinking
of pulling the trigger on a CK set for 20 notes.

I found the plastic handles snap on the plastic pipe cutter so went for a metal one somewhat like this works well and definitely avoids the rough edges (and gives a square cut).

I bought a set of pipe cutters when I was doing some plumbing, yes the dearer one are great but on the cheaper ones the ratchet slips when you use them on a harder plastic. If you know anyone who works for brewery tech services a set of PYTHON cutters do the job brilliantly.

Got given a free set my a plumber once when wiring a boiler house at a school. Look as cheap as anything and has served me well for the last 5 years.

I've got the cheap pipe cutter ones, brilliant nice clean cuts, though I don't use them for trunking as it deforms it to much for me, tin snips have more control if you cut the trunking without the lid, which I do as I prefer lidding up when all the trunking is up, to cover my slight mistakes lol.
