I am thinking of taking on some work other than my main job. Is that website a good place to start?

don't know about other people, but my experience has been a bad one with them. paying £15-00 a month to be on the books and then paying anywhere between £4-00 and £12-00 just to quote someone who has no intention af having the job done ("i just wondered what it would cost,thats all")
mmmmmmfffffppppppp!!!!!
Right.... now i've finished my nervous breakdown. i spent £180-00 in two months and gathered £163-50 in work. i'll let you do the maths....
that was just my experience, see if anyone faired any better.

Dont really rate any of those type of sites like most things its extra money to pay out and very little in return. Why not register with Home - Find Tilers | Find Trusted Plumbers | Find Local Electricians | Find Rated Plasterers | Find Builder Reviews and more at least its free

when i first set up i used checkatrade.com and have now been with them every year since.. they are not cheap but i get plenty of work from them,, leads are free,, and they are now advertising on itv at prime time..

But they are only really known down south , but there seems to be a lot of trust in the site from customers,,

My experience was people would cancel or not be available after i had paid for the right to quote.The jobs i looked at were not the best of work.It also costs to be a member of this elite club!!
