REG for supply to outbuildings ?

anyone know the pages for regs on supplying outbuildings, (garage, shed etc) cant seem to find it

Don't know about specific regs but you can pick up alot of info in appendix 7 special locations.

There are no regs specific to outbuildings,that'll be why you cant find them. Garages and sheds are not generally special locations,the general requirements of bs 7671 apply....

That is true but info about catenary wire, buried depth of cables and wiring in combustible places (wooden shed perhaps for agricultural. ) are found there

As wirepuller said there are no regs for what you are looking for. It comes down to supply and location regs eg :- 131.8, 132.2, 522.7.10 etc.

also watch out for out buildings with their own water/gas mains or structual steelwork.you cannot take pme to them unless you have correct size cpc to comply with main bonding regs
