Could anyone recommend a remote controlled light switch? It must be able to dim and switch up to 320 watts, preferably not be too deep at the back and not cost a fortune. Also there is no neutral at the switch so it would have to be a live in and live out one.

The ones i have looked at on Ebay all seem to have deep backs(ie need 35mm back boxes).
The only one i have seen is made by Varilight.Has anyone used them?

i fitted one of these last month. the one i used was not a dimmer, but they do do dimmers. also no neutral required for the non dimmers.you'll need to check if that's the case for the dimmer ones.:

These looks good, was it the remote control version you fitted? Was the range good?

was remote control. don't know about the range as disabled customer only uses it from up to 15 ft.

Never used one but came across this, supposed to fit in standard back box.
