Ive used Bosch power tools for years without problems,

However both batteries on my Bosch 36v SDS have failed within weeks of each other and the drill is just out of warranty. One battery wont hold any charge, one will only hold enough for two rawlplugs

There seems to be several option, the current battery is 2.6ah, options are a 2.6ah Heavy duty, or there is also a 4.0ah option.
Both are around the £100 mark. Anyone have any experience?

Yes you can take them apart as they are full of 1.2 volt cells test the cells and find out which one of failed and make 1 good battery out of the two bad ones , there is some stuff on u-tube how to do it , be careful though as working with battery's can be dangerous if you don't no what you are doing !!!.

you can buy a cheap 18v 3ah battery on ebay and take the cells.

its a lot cheaper and probably the same cells
