Retraining help

Hi qualified in the 80's but have now been out of the trade for a number of years over 20 I have done small bits here and there but I would now now like to get back into it full time. Does a gone know what if any courses I need to do
My qualifications were a 4 year apprenticeship and a City and Guilds in mail maintenance any help or advice would be appreciated

Mail Maintenance, that sounds a bit iffy where do you work down So Ho? lol, seriously I expect one of the younger guys could help I did my training back in the 60s/70s/ sou out of touch with all these new training courses, although one in Inspection and Testing and the 17th would be good,

That will teach me to type things late at night mainly maintenance does sound better

welcome to the forum, I also did an apprenticeship in the 80's and worked for a DNO. I checked with City & Guilds and found that my old style ONC was now virtually useless and I have now nearly completed a 2365 Level 2&3 and a 17th edition course. To be honest if you have been out of it that long you will need to refresh your knowledge as a lot has changed, I had forgotten more than I realised.

You will need to do 2365 L2, 2365 L3, 2382 (15), 2357 (NVQ conversion) and complete an AM2.
