Hi,

Does anyone have a wiring diagram of a typical roller shutter limit switch config. My shutter is working but I would like to see what the switches are actually telling the board. I could get a ladder out and measure the voltage on the screws but a nice diagram would be better ;-)

If you're not a professional roller shutter installer I'd be wary of replacing/altering/retrofitting any kind of shutter limit switches. Many shutters have safety features built in to prevent injury when someone gets trapped under the door, if you tamper with the controls or switches you may inadvertently leave the shutter in a dangerous condition and be liable for any injuries caused.

Any info on make of starter and motor 3 phase or single phase

pics if possible and I may be able dig you a diagram out

i dont think theres that much to it , half the guys that come to my work to fix them are dummys , am sure itdontgo knows his stuff

They will be the fitters mate next time you see one of the dummy's ask him if you can look at his ecs card most door firms now try and force fitters to do the electrics and not hire a spark I sub contract to 3 door firms as a spark
