Hi -I'm going to get an electrician to run power to a garden shed for two sockets and underfloor heating. He will use armoured SWA but will I have to bury that in the garden or can I run it under the hedge? - I live in Scotland so not sure if diff regs apply.

You could clip it to the branches of the hedge, no seriously it needs burying as per the correct method, your Electrician would be able to do this foe you.

Well he's said that the cable running under the hedge will be fine but I thought it was supposed to be buried. This forum says that it might be different in Scotland so I was just checking. He is going to charge £600. It is a nice shed - insulated floor and all :)
